Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Refrigeration Construction Foreman with a proven track record in managing jobs to success. Work is centered in Atlanta but some travel to surrounding states is required. Join our thriving and dynamic mid-sized company, where your talents and contributions will be noticed and rewarded. Responsibilities

• Leading a crew, installing supermarket refrigeration and cold storage box systems, including compressor racks, walk-in cooler/freezers, case setting, overhead piping, panel construction, and installation of energy management systems
• Developing construction schedules, handling change order requests, and dealing with subcontractor and site issues
• Laying out, fabricating, assembling, and installing piping and piping systems, fixtures, cases, and equipment for Refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Removing and replacing Refrigeration and HVAC piping systems as part of remodeling projects.
• Selecting pipe and related materials according to plans and drawings, job specifications, and type of system
• Working with other trades, planning sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and cutting pipe
• Threading and bending pipe by hand or with pipe bending machine
• Assembling and joining piping by means of threaded, chalked, wiped, soldered, brazed fused, or cemented joints
• Securing pipes to structure with clamps, brackets, and hangers
• Testing piping systems for leaks by increasing pressure in pipes and observing gauges

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant construction experience
• Estimating experience a plus
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, achieving set objectives.
• Ability to read blueprints, piping diagrams, graphs, charts, and tables
• Ability to use a smartphone and tablet
